If you have a full day to spare, don't mind the longer drive, and want a river that leans further into wilderness and a more sustained rapids experience, Telaga Waja is worth the extra travel. Neither requires prior rafting experience, so the decision comes down more to logistics and appetite for a longer day than to raw skill level.
